Nine Inch Nails

Okay tip #138: don't go in front of the stage and jump around in the mosh pit at a Nine Inch Nails concert a few days after you sprained your ankle. Although fun at times, the likelyhood of getting home without someone stepping on your ankle is slim. For me everything was fine until the last song. Some guy stepped on my ankle, twice. Let's hear it for ibuprofen!

The image is from my crappy V710. I don't really care about a camera on my phone, but when I use it I'd like for it to be at least quasi good. That's a shot on about song 2 or 3 when Trent was leaning back takin' a breather between beltin' out lyrics. It was an awesome concert no matter how short. It was also a new experience to be so close to the stage. I'm usually the "sit in the seat and watch with binoculars guy." I now know the pros and cons of moshing.

Battlestar Galactica - Did they Frak-up?

Since we now have to wait until October to see anything from the third season, I thought I'd start a blog about BSG.

Also Known As Dada

I'm a total Eediot (said with pure Ren flair). I may have know this beofre, but last night I just realizes that aka or AKA stood for "also know as." I think when I was in kindergarten someone said AKA was an alias for your real name. I didn't know what an alias was at that time, but I think it stuck in my head. I don't know why this suddenly came to me in a moment of clarity last night, but I found it quite disturbing. It is possible that I have known all along and was just not articulating it, but really how many people ever spell out also known as? People use ASAP all the time, so much that it has become a word itself, but they still spell it out sometimes. Well back to work.
